The Darwin Cycling Club Junior Development Squad are emerging young cyclists who represent the Northern Territory at both road and track events, such as the National Junior Track Series, SA Junior State Track Championships, NT Titles, Nationals - Track & Road and Tasmanian Christmas Carnival.

Juniors also compete in most of the Darwin Cycling Club Events.

There are two main weekly training sessions: Wednesdays (track) from 5pm at the Bagot Park Velodrome on Old McMillians Road; and Thursdays (criterium) at the Hidden Valley Race Track from 5.30pm - check the dates here Hidden Valley Criterium Training. These training ride are open to new juniors as well as our more experienced riders.

For training sessions we require at a minimum a Lifestyle membership. All details can be found at Membership info or here.

Junior Sports Vouchers

The NT Government Sports Voucher Scheme provides every school-enrolled child from preschool to year 12 with a $100 voucher, which can be redeemed from the Darwin Cycling Club. The vouchers can be used for junior membership and/or for purchase of DCC kit.

Joining Darwin Cycling Club using the NT Government Sports Voucher Scheme is a manual process, rather than the online membership. Use this only for Junior Memberships that will be using the NT Sports Voucher scheme.

Download, print and fill out the AusCycling Sports Voucher Membership Application Form.

Attach your child's sports voucher to the completed membership form and email to darwincyclingclub@gmail.com. DCC will claim the Voucher under the Scheme and process the form with AusCycling.

AusCycling will send the membership card to the address on the membership application form.

The Darwin Cycling Club Juniors are looking for members of the community and businesses who would be keen to donate or become a Gold, Silver or Bronze sponsor. If you or your business are keen to offer sponsorship please contact darwincyclingclub@gmail.com or alternately you can send your tax deductible donations to https://asf.org.au/projects/da... and you will receive a receipt from the Australian Sports Foundation who accepts donations for the Darwin Cycling Club.
